Re: difference in year/models.....?
heres a quick summary, GS,LS,RS the 3 models concinerd the lower models, boasting 142hp dohc b18a/b(a for under94 b for 94+) Gsr comes with 15inch Rims, while ls, rs, gs come with 14 inch hubcaps(some come wiht 14-15 inch rims depending on the original buyer) I dont think there are too many differences between years (except 1st gens which i dont know about) 2nd gens are slightly lighter and have differnt more civic'y body style.
the GSR is the upscale model of the integra. It comes with a 180hp v-tec engine(the hp varies in JDM and USDM models) It comes with all luxury featues of the integra.(including a spoiler) the last model is the Type-R which is simply teh racing model which has some weight reduction and a more powerful 210hp v-tec engine(b18c5) |

ok...the 1st gen tegs, all sported the good ol' SOHC (only USDM teg's to ever rock the single cams') w/ i BELIEVE 118/107 (hp/trq) for power numbers (was a d series, don't know the exact code). the 2nd gens came w/ the b18a's for the ls/gs/rs which boasted 130hp/116 trq. the 2nd gen gsr (only in 92-93) came w/ the ever elusive b17a VTEC motor which came w/ 160/116 (made ppl wonder why it was only out for two years). and u were correct that they weighed a bit less than their older bro's. about 100 lbs (a lil less than that). now onto the good ol' 3rd gens. the ls/gs/rs all came w/ the b18b1 and in 94-96's they came w/ 142/127, THEN from 97-up they came w/ 140/127 (obdI/obdII). the gsr came w/ the b18c1 VTEC motor which came w/ 170/128. finally half way through 97, they released the type r in america. it came w/ the b18c5 (which stripped down is simply the b18c1 block w/ a p&p b16 head) which puts out 195/130 to the crank. there u go (some trq figures may be a bit off...bit tired, and this was all from the top of my head, but they're all a LOT closer than before )EDIT: need to add more. ok, also other 3rd gens' came w/ a spoiler etc (not only the gsr). the ls is basically the same car w/ out the b18c1 motor. 2nd, the type r is a bit more than a little lighter and more powerful. the suspension is FAR superior to that of any other teg's, and it came w/ options ONLY for the type r (front lip, wing, recaro seats, shift knob, carbon fiber trim etc...)
