Why was this thread closed?

Why did the andministrators choose to close this thread titled "Help Out Another Car Site... "? Did you guys feel that threatened by it? Do you honestly believe that there isn't room for multiple car enthusiasts web sites?

Fill me in? To me it reflects the maturity of the folks running it. Maybe you did me a favor?

Thanks for the feedback.

Brad

Because we have a specific forum for discussing other web sites. It's called Website Discussion. Damn, what a crazy concept. Do you think it could have been put there?

Also, thanks for making your sig a little smaller.

Web site discussion on other sites means discussions about their own site. Other sites usually alludes to what we are talking about. Thanks for the clarification.

My next brilliant question is why wasn't the thread moved to the wesite discussion area? Damn, that should have been obvious too, right?

Brad, this shows just how far a desperate webmaster/webmaster helper like yourself can go, I am pretty sure you have done the same advertising on other websites and you have been most likely banned on many of them. Want to know why? Advertising costs money You are trying to do it for free. How about someone from AF go to your website and advertise this site?

This is one of the lamest things I have seen in a long time:

Igor:

You could not be further from the truth about the reception that I have received, or my role in this. I am not a webmaster or administrator or anything else. You are the only site that has done this, which says it all.

First you question the 'maturity' of the people who help run this site. Then you come out without the facts. Did you bother to stop by the website discussion forum? Obviously not. Must I hold your hand, and walk you over there? The thread was locked here, and then moved to the proper forum. Also, like I said, you posted this shit on CSI and they did the same thing. So dont come in saying that we were the only ones that did this. We at least left you an area to discuss your failing site.

Edit: Damn, moppie locked the bitch.
