Turbo installation price?

hey,

I was wondering what it would cost to have a full Greddy turbo kit installed? Also how much Horsepower gain would I get on a 95 teg SE? Thanks

About $1000. You should expect about a gain of 50-60 hp

That's not true! You kit install it for as low as $500. The Greddy kits are easier to install than, say, DRAG kits. And the gain will depend a lot on the PSI you set your turbo at (of course you have to upgrade your fuel and ignition systems, as well as exhaust system, before even thinking of upping the boost) but a stock boost of 5-6psi should give your non-VTEC teg, I'd say, atleast a 60 - 80hp to the wheels if not more!

Learn how to do it yourself, you'll save a lot of money, save a lot of hassle, learn a lot, have a lot more fun, you will also be able to better tune it when that time comes, or when something breaks it'll be easier for you to fix.

yeah im thinking of getting the greddy... i heard that if you get it without intercooler you can get from a stock gsr of 170HP to about 220HP and if you get the small intercooler it wil go up to about 240HP and if you get the big intercooler it'll boost up to 260HP and that's using standard 8PSI boost (may be 6PSI)....

there's a tape on ImportLifestyle 2 which shows them installing a greddy turbo on a GSR... pretty sweet... they dyno it afterwards.
