putty help!
![]() the area where the circle is (right at point) i have to put putty. But everytime i sand it, it always breaks apart and falls off. Help..anyone?

depending on how much needs to be done, id use superglue and baking soda, its kinda a task but it will work: put some superglue in an area, then dust it with baking soda. Sand/file into proportions. Repeat until desired.

i dont know if you tried this, but you should scuff up the area that youre using putty on with some agressive sand paper. btw what kind of putty are you using? if its one of those 2 part systems try putting less hardner on it, more hardener tends to make it more brittle

If that's the gap between the hood and the fender...
use some sheet plastic... I'd put it on the fender, but, it may be easer to put it on the edge of the hood (making the hood wider). Use plastic thicker than the gap and you can sand it to a perfect fit.
