Anyone ever do a Engine swap?

I came across a GTP motor for a good deal with low miles on it. I want to install it in my GT it came with the engine wiring loom and pcm. I am going to go through the motor and build it up cam etc....all the way down to the tailpipes... I just want to know forsure that this can be done without alot of problems????

Sure can.

But you'll also need the 4t65E-HD tranny from a GTP

There are a few GT's that dropped the L67 into their cars on CLUBGP.

www.ilgpc.com and look for BLITZU, as far as I know he is one of the first ones to do this, but I could be wrong

Yeah..you're gonna wanna get a 4T65HD tranny as well....or buy the HD upgrade kit from www.intense-racing.com

Also, Boogieq and GRECUMA from CLUBGP (and WICGP ) know a lot about swapping L67 motors into GTs.
