How do you find out what color your car is?

I have a Red 85 Celica GT-S. It is red, and i want to paint a certain part of it with spray paint. The problem is, there are so many types of red. I asked the guy at kragen, and he said if you look on the drivers door, "there is a #, you take that # and you match it up with the book (found in the store) which will tell you what color your car is"

I looked for teh number, but i just saw the VIN. Can someone plz help me, is there a site or something where can find the exact color of my car?
