is it possible to remove the yellow paint from the tail turnsignal sections? The taillights are original (crx91)

I wouldn't think so! I used to own a 3G accord and there weren't hardly any aftermarket parts for it. No tail lights period. All of the Guys on 3Geez.com made their own clears. If thats what you're looking for. They said there is no way to remove the stuff because i'm prety sure the plastic is tinted.

I was under the impression that the amber portion of the lights (as well as the red portions) were colored plastic, not painted. So, there's no way you would get the color out because the plastic itself is amber. Plus, if you put it in the oven, you're much more likely to melt the tail-light, not the "paint" (if in fact they are painted).
