Unhappy Really need an alltrac hood

My lovely celica alltrac hit a tree straight on. Needs a few things but the most difficult to find has been a new hood! 90 alltrac turbo. Can't find one anywhere...I've been searching for days. the best thing i come up with is a hood kit for about $1000.anyone have any leads for me? I seem to have come to a dead end in my search for one. any help would be great!!!

http://www.seibon.com/Products/CFHood/CFHoodToyota.htm

Thy have the AT and SC hoods that look pretty nice, don't know how much they cost, but can't be over $400, plus they're carbon fiber Hope this helped.

Do you know anything about the 3SGTEs? I've been reading about them, still don't know a whole lot about them other then there's been hi po versions in the IS200, top secret supra, and some other cars and it kicks ass. Can someone tell me about it in more detail (ie. displacement, non-turbo power, the most power out put they've seen out of a non-turbo version, is it aluminum or cast iron, etc.).

And my second question is how hard would it to be to swap one of those engines into a 85 celica and how costly? Also what tranny would be needed and such.

Re: Really need an alltrac hood

The 3S-GTE is a Turbocharged and Intercooled, in-line 4 cylinder, Iron block , alum head.

displacement is 1998 cc.

the T in 3S-GTE stands for turbo, so, the non-turbo variant is the 3S-GE. Do a search on the internet for specs of the 3S-GE.

Re: Really need an alltrac hood

and you can find all-trac hoods for around $500 or less if you look in the right places. email me if you need assistance. Lots of us All-Trac/GT-Four guys, swap to the WTA IC hood. SO, we sell our stock (scoop) hoods.
