My car is 1997 Toyota Camry 4cl. Stock tire size was 195-70-14, but I changed them to TRD wheels with 205-55-16 two years ago. Now, it's time to buy new tires.
Now, I am planning to swap 2002 Camry tires with 215-60-16 size. Do you think it will cause any problem, e.g. rubbing problem if I upgrade the tire size? Please help me ASAP... I don't have enough time to decide, maybe by tomorrow. |

Your stock tires and the 205/55-16 tires are the correct 24.9" O.D. These 205/60-16 would be 26.2". Too tall and will likely rub. If they don't, you are still going to notice a big change in you bottom end torque in town. That's a very big O.D. for that car. I wouldn't do it. Stick with the correct size.

Re: Camry Tire Size Upgrade (1997->2002 Tires): Help Me!
Thank you reply.
Do you mean 26.2" O.D. for 205/60-16 or 215/60-16? |

Then, how about 205/60-16?
Do you think it's OK to change that size? Thank you very much for your help. |
