Thumbs up The monster is alive!

After almost 4 months in the garage, tons of email, enough posts that I'm ashamed, and lots of help from the knowledgeable crew here, the CRX Z6 has started!!! It's running fine, idling well, and I'll get to drive it later on tonight!!! I spent over 15 hours rewiring this mess, and pray that none of you inherit the hack job that i did when I bought this car!!

Re: Re: Re: The monster is alive!

Well, it's still up on the jackstands, I have a monster test tomorrow morning, and no time to even put the wheels on it. Worse, it's not registered or insured!!! Well, all in due time, but I'll put up some pics later tonight!!

Nice shirt! I say we all pitch in ten or twelve $$ and I'll have my printer make a bunch up! Oh, and here are some pics. Pls forgive my messy garage, and the poor lighting. I'll take some better ones when I get it out in the light.

Here's the engine bay, there is still some wiring to wrap/loom...

Like I said, I haven't even had time to put on the wheels, cuz o' my school schedule and a monster test tomorrow. Below are the wheels I got for it. I also have to replace the suspension with my new Progress springs and KYB shocks...

BTW, here is the mods/equipment list:
Z6 motor
ZC LSD trans
Centerforce dual friction clutch
Konig intake
DC sports headers
Tenzo axle back exhaust
No cat (came that way, dunno who would take the chance on pulling it...)
Currently Intraxx springs/stock shocks, but getting progress springs/KYB Gr-2's.
Ebay front and rear upper and rear lower strut bars (yeah yeah, I know...)
PM6 ECU
Blitz front bumper
shaved door handles
some cheap alarm...

My plans are 3" exhaust w/ hi flow cat
Homemade turbo setup boosting only 6-8 psi until I get more funds to do block work...
Custom CF 4 pin, hingeless hood ( I have a friend who molds CF for some military contractor type company...)
put door handles back in!!

Re: The monster is alive!

I'm down for the shirt idea! What kinda wheels are those? I'm looking for a good set of 16" 5spokes that aren's slipstream style, and are light weight. Glad to see that your done. Hope it runs like a bat outa hell for ya.
