2004 Fuel Economy Data Available: Many SUVs Get Better Mileage Than Minivans

The Federal Government has released fuel economy estimates for 2004 model year vehicles. Two immediate conclusions: 1) There are a great many vehicles choices available to meet diverse transportation needs and many SUVs get higher mileage than less controversial vehicles. For example, the government lists more than two dozen SUVs which get higher city gas mileage than the highest mileage minivan. Does this mean its only a matter of time before eco-terrorists start burning minivans?
