Have u ever?

Have u ever had a dream that was so real that when u wake up for a couple seconds u think its real?

Well i was dating this guy named mike and he passed away in august, but the other night i had a dream that he was alive, and i knew he was gonna die. i wanted to tell him what was left unsaid when he died. So i said that i needed to talk to him, but i ended up writing down all my feelings on this crisp dollar bill and handed it to him then asked him to kiss me one last time. Then all of a sudden i woke up and i seriously thought he was alive for a few seconds. I hate that shit!

Re: Have u ever?

Yeah. And no matter how hard you try to go back to sleep to keep dreamin it doesn't happen. It happened to me a couple times in one week recently, about Kate. Made for miserable days afterwards.

I never remember any dreams - the conclusion from that is that I don't have them.

Sometimes I hear someone repeatedly calling my name in my dreams. Then I wake up and it's my mom calling my name. DAMN IT!!!!!! Let me sleep!

Thats crazy. Recently I've been having dreams about a girl i dated four years ago. Its really strange. We left on bad terms and i havent talked or seen her since. But in the dream i run into her and the situation is really odd and strange, and neither of us knows what to say.

Re: Re: Have u ever?

I used to dream so vivid and so much that I would often get dreams mixed up with real life... for example, I would be talking to a friend about how something happened and hes like "oh i never heard about that" and im like oh shit... nevermind, forget what I just said.
I have done that several times lately

you always have dreams. do you often fall asleep high or a lil drunk? they say your tendency to remember dreams in that condition is minimal.
in my psychology class we're taught that dreaming is your brains way of working things out. the best time to try to remember a dream is immediately after you wake up. throughout the course of the day you tend to stop thinking about it and it goes away. the worst is when you have a dream that you can only recall bits and pieces of once you wake up.

I had a dream once that the earth had fallen off its axis and was going to crash into the sun. It started as a regular day and I was flipping through channels and stopped on the Discovery channel, and they were showing a parallel earth that had done the same thing. And they predicted it was going to happen to OUR earth this very night. I had like 20 minutes in fact. I called up my husband (then boyfriend) on the phone, wanted to talk to him and say goodbye. He was at work, said "I have to go. I'm on the other line with a client." And I went "No wait!! You have to listen to me, everything's about to end- I love you...look outside.." but by then the earth had gotten close enough - the other side of the earth was closest to the sun and it had ignited and this huge wave of fire was washing over the planet. Flames hundreds of feet tall and you could see the glow from them out the window. And my husband went, "What are you talking about..OH my god" and then a weird moan noise and the line went dead. And it started to get really hot, and I looked outside and the flame was almost here, it got hotter and hotter and everything went white and I felt the hair singe off my arms and I blacked out.

I wake up in a room with 20 or so people. One is my brother, the others I don't recognize. I ask them what's going on and one guy explains...
Beings from another planet had seen what was going to happen and sent down robots, who had scoured the planet before it completely immersed in the sun, and collected whatever little bits of tissue were left. And they had taken this tissue and harvested the DNA, and recreated these people of which I was one. Of the whole planet only 200 people had even flecks of remains that could be found and used. The rest were in other rooms in this hospital...we would be given the chance to perpetuate our kind and our societies....

I realized my husband was dead, and my whole family save one brother was dead, and everyone else I knew was dead, and the world as we knew it was gone. I woke up then, crying uncontrollably, had to call my husband and be consoled.

Later that night was the cliffhanger episode of Dead Zone where Johnny sees the Washington monument as burnt rubble, and Washington DC as just rubble and flame...and it leaves you hanging there. Boy was that unsettling.

That's probably my most vivid dream, and one I'd rather not repeat.

I've been having dreams lately about one of my ex-girl friends and it's really starting to piss me off. we had a pretty nasty break up a little over a year ago but for the last few weeks I've been having these dreams were she is in them. I never remember what we are doing or why she is there but it pisses me off that I can't get her out of my head and move on. I think it has something to do with the fact that I thought things were going all good (even thought they were far from it) and when she said it was over I was heart broken. I've come to the conclusion that I'm still attached to the memory of her when she was someone I loved and similarly to when we were going out I am able to over look that she treated me like crap and I only see the good. the dreams are not bad, and they aren't depressing or anything like that I just can't figure out why I'm still thinking about her after all this time. has anyone else had dreams like this last so long or come back at such a long date? maybe I'm just wierd.
