What means Code 1?
Hey,
i have some prob with my 90' ED6. My ECU shows me CODE 1. Oxygen content? But what does this mean? Sorry my english is not very good. I'm from Germany. So can anyone help me how to fix up this problem? THX Arne

code 1 means Oxygen content. I would check or replace your O2 sensor and do a search on here for it, see what other people's experience has been...

Code 1 could mean a number of things. some possible causes are..
*bad o2 sensor *loose connection at o2 sensor *bare o2 sensor wire grounding on some part of the chassis *engine running very rich *engine running very lean *foreign substances in combustion process (some fuel additives may cause this, but highly unlikely) good luck.
