18's chrome rims
Alright my question is will 18 inch chrome rims fit on my 96 accord without any problems?? I have it lowered 1.6 in the back and 1.7 in the front. I have 205/40/17 's on there right now and i have loaded my car with atleast 7 people before and it didn't rub. so i am guesssing i will be alrite but i would like here some other peoples opinions.....oh and if i do this will i run into any rubbing problems or tranny or brake problems?

Its best to upgade the brakes when installing large / heavy rims since the rotating mass of the wheel & tire are the hardest thing for the brakes to stop. Also the suspension will have increased strain, resulting in premature wear.Sure you can fit 18" rims - what we need to know is backspacing & tire size.STOCK TIRE SIZE: 195/60R15
Recommended Plus Sizes PLUS 3 SIZE(S) Require 18 inch wheels 225/35R18 0.01 Inches shorter than stock tire 215/35R18 0.29 Inches shorter than stock tire 215/40R18 0.56 Inches taller than stock tire |
