Exclamation QUick Help w/ Radio question

Are the radio's /cd players out of a 99 silverado, and a 2004 silverado the same size? The 2004 mounts different, but i found one on e-bay and cant tell if it will fit or not??

yes, they are different. They changed the radio style in 2003. It has new features like xm ready, rds, and steering wheel radio buttons. The newer radios are bigger, so they wont have kits to make them match up to your 99. The entire interior was redesigned in 2003. The only difference I have noted that is different between 2003 and 2004 is a new color and vinyl on the part that used to have carpet on the doors

Re: QUick Help w/ Radio question

Alrighty then man, thanks. I guess that leaves me with no option but to either keep the JVC I have or install the good old factory cd player again.
