Tranny problem

OK my sister has a 91 talon with an automatic tranny in it. They got the car chaep (250) The only problem with the car was it skipped second gear when shifting. So the looked around and found a transmision in texas for 250. Got it put it in and it still does the same thing??? Can the computer tell it to skip second? Is there a way to kick the computer iin the head or should it be replaced? Anyone else have a problem similar to this? Help

i have a 92 it only has 2 and r they say it is the computer so i would say ur having the same prob new puter
