My 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition with 5.4L won't start. It is sitting in the garage with plenty of battery juice everything lights up and comes on (headlights, instruments, etc.) but the starter will not engage. It does not appear as though the starter is getting and current at all. My first suspsion was a fuse but all appear to be ok both in the fuse box and distribution panel. Tried shifting to neutural still nothing. Coinsidentally, radio also does not work anymore. Any ideas?

Re: Help 5.4 Won't start!
You may have a fuel reset button located in the rear quarter pannel door.

Re: Help 5.4 Won't start!
It should still be under warranty, call the dealership..Also try carfax, they post common problems with vehicles, including what problems were found during testing of vehicles.
I suspect its an issue with the truck computer. |

Re: Help 5.4 Won't start!
Your key may have become corrupted. Have you tried the other key to see if it works. Try disconnecting the battery and turning the lights on for 30 minutes to reset the computer.
