I Have Two Of These Speakers. They Are 6.5 Coaxial Speakers That Fit Perfectly In My Front Door Mounts Of My 96 Honda Civic Ex.
My Question Is How To Hook Them Up. They Have Two Sets Of Terminals On The Back Of The Speaker. One For The Tweeter And One For The 6.5speaker So I Have 2 -'s And 2 +'s On Each Speaker. How Do I Wire This? Thanks For Your Help! |

Some of the nicer coax speakers (like the Focals I had) have two sets of terminals for biwiring capability. There should be a factory jumper between them so if you actually did want to biwire them, you'd have to cut the jumper, at least that's the way Focal does it. However, when I relied on the jumper my tweeters kept cutting out on me when I'd hit bumps in the road. All I did was crimp a jumper wire into the female terminal that looped around to the tweeter connection for both pos and neg. It's sort of tough to explain. You just need to branch one terminal off of another and you will avoid any connection problems.
