ACME car show - Atlanta,GA *Lots of pics*

I just recently joined ACME model club (Atlanta Car Modeling Enthusiasts), and just in time to be a part of their annual car show. Which was held this past weekend.

This was my first model car show and I was blown away by a lot of cars there. There were around 420 entrys or so.

Some guys you may be familiar with participated - Veyron, Zoom-ZoomMX-5, and myself, there might be others also. You may catch a glimpse of some of our stuff in these shots.

Enjoy the pics!

That Bobby Allison Chevy is too cool and I really dig the BMW M1. Sweet stuff in general, though.

I'll dig up the pics that the builder Ken Mouton sent me when he built it, he sectioned the body by 2.5 mm, keeping the flares and then blending them into the hood. He also made the taillights much smaller, into a triangle. Neat model, for sale for $150 if anyone's interested.

Ken's Enzo was incredible....

There were a few skylines there. This is only pics of 20 of the 420 cars that were there. I could only capture about 130 of them before my memory card was full. One skyline resembled the 2F2F paint scheme. It was pretty nice.

We sure do.

I'm sure a couple of those 350z's will be at the next meeting. ZoomZoomMX-5's green Z needs to be seen in person to really see the depth of that paint. It's awesome. Looks like you could jump in and swim in it. It'd be great to have ya come by. Meetings are the first Sunday of every month.

I don't know if I like the Enzo color scheme, but I will say it is a daring paint job.

And I was in Atlanta this weekend! Sure wish I had known about it ahead of time. But, I doubt the girlfriend would have let me go anyway. Oh well, so close and yet so far....

Those model are great, much better than any at the piddling little show they throw down here (no offense to anyone who puts tha show on, if they read this). That yellow Z is just, cool. And that Enzo, I really like its paint! I might not sell my kit after all....

Yeah, any more pics? Espescially of that blue, red and white racing Z? I'd really like to see how it looks-- it appears to be a throwback to old Datsun racing livery?
