95 JGC Backwards Compas?
Ok i recently bought a used 95 jeep grand cherokee
every thing is good however i noticed when i was driving to work the other day i was heading South onthe highway and the Compas said i was going north.. and vise versa any got any ideas? here is another im not shure about, I bought a used remote and tryed to program it but when i follow the Directions nothing happens, could the remote be bad? I checked the roof console and there is a remote reciver and is hooked up. any way to test this? |

You've got to triangulate that compass or something. In the owners manual there is a setting that has to be set for your particular area of the country. If not set correctly, you'll get incorrect readings.

turn on ignition& set the display to comp/temp while pressing the us/metric button, press the step button for at least 10 seconds until the CAL symbol appears release both buttons & complete 3 360 degree turns in an area that is free from large metal objects. the CAL symbol should turn off and the compass will function properly! thats what the manual says anyway! |
