i have a 83 amc eagle 4wd wagon the 4wd amc eagles were the first suvs it needs a transmission to make it run again i dont have the money to fix it i need to sell it to get money to move to texas i want 1200.00 or best reasonable offer

Are you sure it was the first SUV? They had suburbans in the 50's.

the amc 4wd eagle was the first vehicle to be be called a suv. subaru says that the little subarus were the first suvs ok .if i fix my eagle i will challenge the first little saburu i see that runs .to run the alaska highway in the middle of january non stop and if i loose i will say sorry with my fingers crossed yes any american old 4wd should also be called a suv
