rx 330 w/ 6-speed??

Hi to all,

New to the lexus area, usually hang out in the nissan gtr and datsun sections. but a new issue has come up...Looking to buy an rx330, but getting a bit of conflicting info...maybe somebody here knows.

Heard through the grapevine that the rx330 will be available in some markets with a 6spd tranny, though the dealers in the states that i have contacted don't seem to know (or don't want to say) anything about it.

I'm looking to ship the car to russia, so where i buy it is not a critical factor. if anyone has info on this, pls pass it on.

Lexus had just introduced a 6spd for their LS430,
so I believe it is very possible that the RX330 will be equipped with a 6spd transmission, since most luxury brand ie. BMW, Jaguar, Audi are all using / swtiching to 6spd, and some Mercedes are even using a 7spd now
my guess is rx330 will get a 6spd in a year or two (2005 or 2006 model)
