Weird Turn Signal problem

'02 MDX

When I activate the turn signal (both sides) i get an intermittent "beep" sound in addition to the normal "click" sound?
any ideas?
All bulbs seem to work fine.

thanks

Does your owners manual mention anything of this?

In any event, I'll go out to my parents '02 MDX and see if I notice the same thing happening and then post back in here for you.

EDIT:
Just went out to see what I could find with that, and when I flipped on the blinker, all I hear is the normal clicking from the blinker relay module. I'm not sure what a beep might be indicating or what it means in your situation, but I'd look in your manual, if you can't find out what it is in there, then either call up or go over to the local Acura dealership and ask them what it's all about. Let us know what you find out on this.

Also of note, (not too sure how different this might be in more advanced vehicles like the MDX) but I know in most other cars and my Civic for example, typically when a turn blinker bulb goes out, your indication of this is that when that side of the blinker circuit is activated (you flip on that side blinker) then it will blink at twice the normal rate to alert you of the problem. This will also happen if the wrong type of bulb is put in place as well.
