catback exhaust too loud
i have a tsudo catback and its wayy too loud..i dont want the silencer on because it blocks air flow..so i was thinking of leaving the catback piping for tsudo and changing the axleback to another brand..would that help make it not as loud depending on what kind of brand and would another brand just bolt connected to the piping i have on now?

simple question you guys..keep the piping but change the axleback to a brand known to be not as loud would it work..the sound depends on the muffler correct?

Re: catback exhaust too loud
I have the same problem w/ my spoon sports exuast on this 90 teg LS i bought today. I think I am going to swap the exuast to my XSi and use a flowmaster deltaflow muffler on custom cat back piping and a ITR exuast tip?? what do ya think... do ya want my JDM teg XSi exuast????

check out magnaflow instead of the flowmasters first. although, the magnaflow maybe less noisy than the flowmaster, the tone sounds better. they are about the same price range.
of course, the stainless steel ones are better and worth the extra bucks. |

You might as well by a stock muffler if your going with Magnaflow. Go on eBay and buy a round style muffler.
