Does anyone know how to remove the window crank from my ford ranger? I have tried sooooo hard and i'm getting frustrated that i can't get it off to install my speakers. Please someone help me. ASAP

If it's like mine you have to remove the cover on the handle with a flathead screwdriver. after that, at the pivot area there is a torx screw that you have to remove, and the handle should pull right out. what kind of speakers are you installing. I recently blew mine.

Most likely it is like all the other newer cars in the world, take your handle and pull it towards you between the crank and the doorpanel if you look behind it there is a little clip that looks like this
__ ( ) ) ( Pop it out with a Flathead screwdriver, but dont lose it because your crank wont stay back on without it. Pull the crank towards ya and your handle is off. |
