86 legend questions (engine, etc.)

I have a 1986 Legend and I want to get a new engine. I love the car, but my engine has almost 240k miles on it. I am having a very difficult time finding Legend motors, especially ones without 200k+ miles on them. Does anyone know of any other cars' engines that will fit the Legend? Maybe not that, but will Legend engines from other years fit?? Any help is appreciated.

Also, if I can't get another engine, does anyone know how to get rid of a pesky engine knock. It's not very loud, but annoying.

One more thing. :-) My left side has a horrible squeak near the tire. I have deduced it is a ball joint, probably the upper one. But I can't find a auto parts store with one. What can I do there?

I'm new here and any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.
