Question Should I buy a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

Hello,

I am consideering buying a 2003, new Hyundai Tiburon. I haven't been able to find out all that much about it, and was wondering if an owner would be kind enough to share their experience with me. Preferably, the owner would have owned the vehicle for at least a year. Just hoping to find some help.

Thanks

Lawrence

are you going to want to modify it, or do you just want good stick power?

Re: Should I buy a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

I'm actually not going to modify it, I'm just looking for a good deal. I have an offer on a new GT V6 Automatic in Los Angeles for around 12,000. Seem good, just wondering about the quality of the car as it comes from Hyundai. Automatics seem better suited for the stop and go of LA.
what do you think?

Lawrence

at 12000, i wouldnt even think twice about snatching it up and driving it home. it has good stock power and is supposed to be reliable. everything else you want to know you should figure out on a test drive.

if you want owners opinions, go to www.hyundaiperformance.com and post a topic in the "GK Tiburon" forum. or go to www.newtiburon.com.

I'd recommend it. I've driven my Tiburon for three months now, and haven't had a single problem with it. It's a great car. Most of the time, you only here complaints from people who have never owned a Hyundai,so feel like they should complain about it

Was that the 6 speed one with the leather, sun roof, 17's, high spoiler and all? Mine was 23,500 with all that, I just rounded it to 24,000. After finance charges it was 30,000.. Alot of money but i love it!
