leaking ant freeze
ok guys i have a 92 acura integra ls and i have a bad coolant leak. can anybody tell me possibly where its coming from? It has 140,000 on the engine!! it looks like its coming from or close to the left from tire area. Any suggestions?

Left as in driver side? That would be your water pump, I recommended not driving the car until the water pump & timing belt are replaced. If you do drive it you run the risk of breaking the t/belt and/or overheating causing damage. couple hundred for the t/belt w/pump change is lots cheaper than thousands for an engine.

what do you mean by left side? looking at the motor. is it leaking directly out of the bottom of the head onto the block? if so it is probably a headgasket crack which could mean your head it warped or cracked too, worse case scenario of course. if it is the water pump, like said above you will have to do a timing belt job. it could possibly be one of the hose connections too, or the radiator its self.

My radiator cracked and shot anti freeze all over my hood. I was refiling it hourly until I was able to take it in.
