I really like it. it should be out in 2 years, if Germany doesn't cancel it. It hopefully will have the new, 353 hp hemi engine.
I really like it, it should be awesome (it wont be powered by CNG, like the concept car did)
I can't wait for it

Yeah, my mag said they were going to probably make it. It may have been cancelled, you can thank Stuggart for that, or their 2 billion dollar loss.

Anybody have any pics? Is it similar to the late 60's early 70's Chargers?

Sorry, I dont have any pics

But I think it's been cancelled, they are making the Crossfire instead.

It has a big cross-hair grille, a sleek profile with a beltline that goes higher as you move down the car. It's lights are almost reminiscent of teh pre-facelifted Camaro's. It is very nice.

I have been trying to find some pics on this. I saw some of the original idea to make it with an alternative fuel system, but they scratched that idea.

I hope to hell they make the new Charger, because I am tired of all these Chevy and Ford guys that can buy high HP for a low price. Sure a Viper can waste a Mustang or a Camero, but that would be a little spendy. The Charger can do just that but at a good price.

I too would love to see the comeback of the Charger. However, this Crossfire sounds nice. Happen to have any pics of it? Thanks

So you noticed the 4th door. It is there because the market for 2 door coupes is rapidly declining. So to make a business case of it, it needs four doors. But it looks like it didn't make it (stupid Germans!!), so it doesn't matter anymore.

They better make something to compete with the Mustangs and Cameros. Grrr, when people buy sport, they don't want four damn doors.

I would expect Chrysler of all companies to know that. I don't think they are canning the idea though, they brought back the Hemi for that, though they will put it in the Rams and the Jeeps, possibly the 300.

Yeah, I can't believe that they cancelled the Charger for the Crossfire. In my book, there's no comparison; I'd take the Charger anyday.

Talking Charger is not cancelled

FYI.. the charger has not been cancelled, it is supposed to debut in 2005. It will be redesigned before it does debut though, and will not look much like the concept. It will be based off of the upcoming LX platform which will also be used for the next Concorde and 300N. It will have a 5.7 litre HEMI V8 with RWD and a 5-spd. Check out the article below.
