I would have to agree, that in a sense it was maybe ahead of its time. Was probably one of the best performing vehicles in its time, and will remain a legend...

cool camaros
As far as coolest camaro that was factory i'd go with zl1 but dealerships that built cars after production (i.e. Yenko, Dana, Nickey, etc...) i'd say that the motion performance phase III is the best camaro ever produced.

Re: Yenko
the motion phase 3 vega is a cool car
the '69 ZL1 with the all alluminum 427, im guessing, is the one he's talking about as being the best from the factory the '80 L39 with the all cast-iron 267 is deffinitly not the best, maybe its the worst V-8 camaro ive heard of a newer ZL1 but i dont think it was a production car |

Are you posotive that it was 3.6? it seems a little fast...but if thats true then a chevelle with a 454 is gotta do pretty damn good, and a charger/challenger/roadrunner/cuda hemi

Re: Yenko
Yeah, pretty close to 3.6 because they ran high 11's from the factory...

A yenko camaro was sold at a classic car auction for 1.2 million dollars. Its a rare sweet ride.

Re: Yenko
Yeah, they're pricey when they're all original. I bet I could find one for less than that though, and with a little TLC, it be a beautiful car...

Re: Yenko
i really don't think a yenko was capable of 3.6 60 foots and 11's in the quarter. where did you hear that from??? i'm going to have to research it now cuz there's no way that friqqin heavy car is gonna do that. just my opinion and i'm researching so i'll be back.
