Angry '01 Headlight replacement

Has anybody changed a headlight on this model Blazer? How do I remove the assembly in order to reach the bulb?

Thanks in advance.

its actually rather easy to take it out. i will use the right headlight as an example b/c it has better reference points. What you want to look for are two plastic clips that are located between the battery and the metal housing around the headlight assembly. They may be kind of hard to get out, but dont be afraid to use a little force (unless it is cold outside, or else they may snap). Once you have found the clips and have removed them, lift the assembly up and out.

To get it back in, however, is a little tricky. You will notice that there are two 'prongs' that slide into slits in the metal surrounding. In order to insert these prongs into the slits, you will have to turn the screw that adjusts the headlight's vertical angle. You want to move it so that if the headlight was still on your car, the headlight would be pointing down. This will allow for you to set the headlight assembly in place with ease, just make sure to set the prongs into place, or else the headlight may fall out while you are driving. Also, make sure to re-adjust your headlight to the proper angle.

I hope i helped.
