Raced a Corvette tonight.... The moron f*cked up so I won!!!!
Tonight I was cruising when I came to a red light and a silver Vette pulls up next to me. In the driver's seat was some punk kid who got to take daddy's car for the night. When the light turned green I accelerated normally pretending to ignore him, then I dropped it into 2nd and pegged my 2.73 geared stock drop top and he instantaneously did the same. He almost immediately walked right passed me when I suddenly heard his engine rev to the rev limiter and he began to slow down. Then I heard him downshift into like 2nd and his tires broke loose causing the car to kick sideways. By the time he finally realized what had happened I was all ready slowing to a stop due to the upcoming red light. A few seconds..., yes seconds later, he pulls up to me and tells me how he missed 3rd and "accidentally" downshifted to 2nd while he was going 60mph+ (what a moron). He asked if we could go at it again and I simply replied "Naw, once is good enough for me, I don't want to get nailed for drag racing, and I don't want you to do any more damage to your dad's vette. He started to laugh and said "whatever, I had you in the long run man." Then he drove off once the light turned green.

Nice man! I wanna play too! Only race I got into was against a Honda Accord, and a Chevy Extreame. Won both those, but they were nothing special.

Stupid Kid. I Like to see that a 'stang won over a 'vette even if the race has an * after it. Good show.

You should have got out and smacked him. Good show though I love to hear about mustangs putting it on Bowties. Heres on you'll like I went to the track last week at gateway. I saw a beefed up s10 pick up walk a viper. Go figure

vetts, been there done that not impressed I love hearing the 5.0 tales on vetts everybody hears how "fast" they are till you have been behind the wheel of a 5.0 looking back through the mirror you just don't know realize how good it feels to know just how "fast" those vetts are he he he good story any more?
