Unhappy Help With Wheel Size

I was wondering if someone could tell me if 19x8.5" wheels with a tire size of 245/35 will fit on my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS?

I dont know much about 3gs either, but Ive got 255s on my 1g and the stock eclipses dont look anywhere near as wide as mine, so Im thinkin 245s are way too wide. Theyre probably more like 205 or 215 im guessing. It doesnt say in your manual?

Find out what your stock diameter is on your tire, and try to stay near that. if you plus size the rim, you will have to get a smaller sidewall to keep the same diameter... thats what WILL work, stock specs.. but if you want way wide or way long diameter, its a risk.

Don't ask DSM people if they 'think' your wheels will fit. You are going to risk a lot of trouble based on what people guess? calculate your stock tire diameter and stick to that.. also 8.5 seems pretty wide so good luck with that.
