Question lifting a new truck

does anyone know the proper way to adjust the torsion bars to get the maxamum lift out of the front of a 2004 1500 ? I i feal the factory setting is just do low . It makes me feal like I am falling into the dash.

If the truck is brand new and still under warranty you may not want to do that because it will void your warranty.

I wouldn't do anything if it will void your warranty.
You need to jack the truck up until the tire is off the ground and then tighten the bolt on the torion bar until you get it to where you want it. You can't raise it too much or it will hurt the suspension and give it a rougher ride unless you get some after market control arms.

captain kirk, 4-wheeler magazine has after market lift kits for your truck in the advertising sections. you can call tham and ask if the lift kits will void the warranty. don't screw with the torsion bars.spock
