Hi, dont know if I should be posting this here, but worth a shot. I know nothing about cars of course, BUT. This morning, I started my car, it idled pretty badly, I stopped at a drive through to pick up a coffee, as soon as i sat still in the drive through for a couple of minutes, it died. So i turned around, headed home, got to the stop lights, still idling roughly, it died again. Starts up again no problem. (so far!). Got home , sat in the driveway for a second waiting to see if it would die again, and it did. Any ideas would be so appreciated!!! thanks!!!

Well I have a 94 and mine would idle at redlights.......when I started to brake for the redlight I could feel it starting and when I came to a complete stop it would die
It would start back up and when I hit the gas it would go on It would take about 10-15 mins of driving and it would do it each time...... My problem was the torque converter solenoid. Every since I got it replaced it never has died..........the part cost like 35 bucks I think but I paid like almost 200 on labor! So if that is your problem in which I dont know make sure you shop around becuae one auto shop was going to charge me 400 bucks to do it But like I said that was my problem ........I dont know yours unless I was there and seen it |
