Engine problems

1989 2.5 turbo 1

According to this my car should get to 11psi at around 4500 rpm. My car at around 3500rpm falls flat in its face and has no power. The highest I have ever seen my boost is 7 psi. Before 3500rpm it fells fine. After 3500rpm it feels like I have no power at all. What could be causing this?

The fact is that the Turbo I was set to run 7 PSI. Also your Turbo I is using a small Mitsubishi TEO4H turbo unlike the pre 1989 Turbo I which used a larger Garrett T03 unit. Your turbo will spool fast but it won't have much high end boost.
