HI, what’s the max hp and tq you can put on an 89 Daytona CS automatic transmission. thanks

all i know is more than it is taking right now, the guys here said the transmissions in daytonas were alot more powerfull than the car dished out...

I am guessing you have the A-413. If so the you can make it to handle over 300HP. I still prefer the A-555 and A-568. To me they were two of the best transaxles ever made. However; the A-413 is better for drag racing if you aren't good at shifting.
