Suggestions wanted

I bought a 95 Stealth, (Auto, SOHC) about 3 months ago, and as far as I can tell the car is stock. (It had a decent sound system added, but the speakers buzz.) I know how a car works, but I know little about how to improve performance. So, my questsion to you all is this: what do I need to do to make this car better? (Right now my brothers 93 Chevy Corsica can almost beat me in a race...)

THANKS! ^_^

Sorry I can't tell you specifically what to do. I am not really up on the mods for the NA cars. Stop in the modification forums off www.3si.org and you'll get what you need.

Ya, Yogs' suggestion is probably best. Search for the N/A Upgrade Bible there. But I can give you a brief rundown since I'm in near the same boat as you.

-intake (open element for easier flow. *take off the resonator bottle while you're at it; no gains but it's useless)
-exhaust (sooo many options here, really just search on 3si. * but you're looking at cat-back, then testpipe to replace cat, then a downpipe or possibly new headers)
-pulley (either lightened or underdrive. I'd say lightened since you have a system)

Those should get you going pretty good and leave your bro behind. After this they get scattered...
-suspension (springs, shocks, sway bars, strut towers for handling and cornering)
-brakes (rotors, pads and lines just makes good sense)
-cosmetic stuff (rims, hoods, seats serve as lightening agents and can free up hp and look nice )
-plugs and wires (good for future mods)
-nitrous (you'll need other supporting mods but it's good for quick hp)
-forced induction (turbo or supercharger. Good luck finding a consensus on that one lol)

There are more but that gives you a general idea. Good luck and congrats on the car.

-Jeff

Re: Suggestions wanted

Thanks ya'll ^_^

I have one more question, however. Could someone direct me to a web site that sells Mitsubishi 3000GT spoilers. My car has one of those gimpy, right next to the back windshield spoilers, AND I HATE IT! >_<

The kind I'm looking for is the wing on the back of the white car in YogsVR4's picture.

Oh yeah, thanks again!

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, I see that yogs' picture is no longer there. Please ignore my reference to this picture... that is all.
