HP issues... Help please.

I would like to know which would be better for extreme hp increases... the Base or the GT V6 Tiburon? I have heard that the Base in fact is better for my purposes but nobody has told me why.

I would also appreciate it if some one could tell me the differences between the Tiburon and the Tuscani that I have recently heard of. Among the differences I would like it if one would tell me if the Tuscani is better for hp increases and/or be able to handle more hp than the Tiburon or no?

Finaly... could anyone tell me the estimated max hp that can be added to both the better version Tiburon and Tuscani?

THe base is better. it has an iron block while the GT V6 has an aluminum block. GT V6 can only take up to 240 hp or so i heard. Tiburon and Tuscani are the same thing. There is no max hp that can be added. You can add up to a 1000 hp but you would have to change most of the parts.

So there are absolutely no differences between the Tuscani and the Tiburon.

Ohh and if anyonebody know any would you please list some good webpages or sites that have any real good body or turbo kits for the Tiburon/Tuscani.

the tuscani is the name given to the 2003+ tiburons in korea. before that year, they were called the turbulence in korea.

the the v-6 engine is limited to about 240hp.

the beta engine is the engine found in every tiburon, except the v-6. the new "GK" tiburons have the beta II engine. it is almost identical to the beta I engine with very minor differences in the head of the engine. currently in korea, there are turbo'd beta engines pushing 600whp.

So is the Beta II engine better than the Beta I. In this aspect i am refering to having more hp/strength/being better able to handle more hp than the Beta I. Just anything you can think of that might help me out here.

neither engine is better. they both produce the same amount of hp and can handle the same.

the i-4 can take more ... teh v6 can only take so much
so it depends on what you want... a long term wproject car...= i-4
power rigth off teh lot= v6
