Little bastards on scooters

What is the deal with those damn motorized scooters kids are riding around on? I almost nailed this little shit that didn't stop at the 4 way intersection. Kid didn't even have a helmet on.

Those things are so damn annoying, sound like a Civic with a 6 inch tip rolling down the street .

Are you sure it wasn't a Civic? j/k! Kids are the same weather its a bike, rollerblades, skateboard or a scooter. They dont watch what their doing so the rest of us have to keep our eyes open. I wish parents would take more time in getting these kids to stop at intersections (at least it would help I think)

I live in Glendale, AZ. I know for a fact that many kids have been given citations for riding on the scooters without helmets. It is a motor vehcile technically...

Also, since people on bicycles are SUPPOSED to follow the same rules as motor vehicle drivers, could they get ticketed if you got into an accident with one?

I've seen one too many of those motorized scooters over the spring and summer. I swear this kid had a 6" tip coming off it Made the loudest damn noise and he'd go by on it at 11 pm He would go by in the daytime too. I should have thrown something at him out my window. What do you figure my street seemed to be his main course.

My friend's dad got a speeding ticket on a bike. It was in San Diego, and he was "clocked" going 45mph down a hill in a 30mph zone.

45mph is scary on a bike!!

I know what you mean, though the ones here are the little push stand up types. Kids whip out of driveways and off the sidewalks onto the road right in front of you!

They just don't seem to care or get it that if you get hit by a 3,000 moving hunk of steel it is going to hurt like hell!

I especially like the little shits that stand in the road and when they see you coming they will stare you down and move slowly making you nearly come to a stop.

Well one little cheeky shit got a suprise a month ago. Due to some road works I decided to take a different route through some neighborhood. There were a few kids playing soccer in the street as I came up. I slowed to be the safe driver and one decided not to move but instead attempt to stare me down. I thought right...... I revved the car up dumped the clutch at 7500 rpm in second gear while traveling at @ 15 kms or 10mph and headed right at the little prick. Man did he move fast. I guess the roar the engine and the street filling tyre smoke changed his little mind ! :finger:

I have trained most of the kids in the subdivision to get out of my way. If they sit there and be a little ass about it I speed up, really fast. Then at the last second I slam on the brakes. It scares the shit out of them. And I always stop about ten feet from them.

Sure I have gotten some angry parents calling me, but I tell them, the stree is for cars that is why it was built, your kids just stand there even when I pull up and don't move. They have no place in the road and I am going to show them that. They need to play on the side walk or the drivway, not the DAMN road. I should be calling you because you need to keep a close eye on your children. What if someone does not see them and mows them down, then what.

KEEP YOU DAMN KIDS OUT OF THE STREET!

I even ran over one of those hockey goals for street hockey. They refused to move it, so I ran it down. Little shits.

LOL!! That is extreme man! Bet that kid was pissed

Kids that play on the road and move dont bother me, but when they just stand there and expect you to go around them, then I get pissed.

Yeah, the parents wanted me to pay for it. Usualy I would not have done that, but is was like the fourth time they had done it that week. Had they moved it I would not have cared, needless to say I told his parents to tell them to get them out of the road and I will stop running over them.
