jay leno speaking

found this top gear article of jay leno comparing two gordon murray designs, he's quite clear in his opinion of the f1, and he's comparing it to the SLR....

Re: jay leno speaking

Interesting article. I'm surprised he didn't mention his LCC rocket. I wish they had showed a pic of his F1.
I recently saw a book at Barnes & Noble called something like "fantasy garages" or "dream garages" and one of the chapters was on Leno's garage. They interviewed him about his cars, they showed a pic with his mclaren in the background but for some reason he didn't say a single thing about it!

That's a great read - I just wonder if Jay wanted to be so directly quoted like that. In the stuff that he writes himself for magazines like Popular Mechanics, he always finds more creative ways to say the same things without incorporating the swearing seen in that article. He made some great points though.

I'm also surprised he didn't mention his LCC Rocket.

Mini magic, I have spoken to Jay Leno numerous times. He does not talk like that. I am sure he said some of the things in the article, but I think the reporter did take some liberties. Even when speaking off the record, and talking about cars, Jay Leno is just not crude like that.

I really like those articles with Jay, he has som much experience and knowledge to make a good comparison to any other machine out there.

That's a great article f1esp - I had seen it before, but don't mind reading through it once more.

Also - your English seems quite good to me.

There are too many problems with the English language to go blaming yourself.

For instance, I could have finished this sentence several different ways.

Quote:
I had seen it before, but don't mind reading through it once more.
...but I don't mind reading through it again.

...but I don't mind reading through it one more time.

...but I don't mind reading it all over again.

...but I don't mind reading it another time.

See what I mean??
