egr flow insufficient

My engine light came out so i took it to autozone and they told me the problem is egr flow insufficient. What is the EGR and how can i fix it. Thanks.

the EGR valve is an Exhaust Gas Recirculating valve that attempts to reduce emissions of oxides of nitrogen, which were a major cause of air pollution, and recirulates it in the exhaust gasses, your most likly gunna have to replace it...or clean it!
i'd say your best bet would be replacing it, good luck

I had to replace my EGR valve too. It is REAL easy to replace. My only problem was a hose that went from my intake manifold was STEEL line and i had to bend it a little to get the EGR in place. Other than that, no worries its a direct fit.
