2001 GC nameplates

has anyone noticed problems with the nameplates on Grand Caravans??
I have a 2001 and I noticed a peeling problem with the lettering. There seems to be a clearcoat on top of the letters that comes off and gives those letters that are exposed a "weathered" look. Does anyone know, other than the dealer, where I can buy replacement nameplates??

Re: 2001 GC nameplates

There is only a thin coating over top of the lettering. My 2001 GC did the same thing. I have a few replacement decals to put back on when I get around to it. If you're interested, I can mail you one. I have both the Grand Caravan and the Sport decals. Be very careful that you don't peel the paint when you do replace them.
