Focus Lovers!!

Seems to be many Focus haters on a Focus forum. I hate Geo Metros, but I dont visit over there. Anyways, this thread is for anyone that loves their Focus.

I'm 16 and purchased my Focus late May. Making monthly payments, and each is worth it. I love the car. The only problem I had was the A/C wasn't cold enough, but I took it in and they fixed it, along with a flat tire for free and under an hour. Also, its pretty quick for its price. Helps me get around those grannies on the road ways. Also, plenty of trunk room for what I need. Holds my hockey gear, dog food, and my back pack, with room to spare. Also, there are many upgrades and modifications that make the Focus look awsome. I think it looks fine stock, but they really make it awsome. Also it is pretty roomy for its size. Also, I took it up to Detroit (7 hour ride) and was confortable the whole way there. Also took it up to Indy (2 hour ride) and it was perfect. My Focus has had a good run.

So, with that in mind...what do you like about your Focus? Please no negatives, if you want to make negative statements, start your own thread. This is for people who love the Focus.

I like it for what it is. Its cheap and pretty fun to drive, minus the numb FWD feel. My warrenty is almost up and little problems are starting to pop up *ford* I have to say reliability wise it kicks the shit out of my lemoned maxima.

i had a 00' sony edition sedan. man i loved that thing it took well to mods and out handled the turns way better then any of my friends, the stock sony sound system was also a plus although the amp would sometimes over heat because i turned it up too loud, other then that i loved my focus.

Re: Focus Lovers!!

Yah, I have the Mach Edition ZTS. Awesome little car. Looks cool now that I lowered it. I think it looked like a 4x4 stock. The Mach sound system is awesome - not loud thumpin', but pretty darn good for stock. The HID's also look pretty sweet on the car, and it lights up the streets much better than regular lights. I wish I would've got the 5-speed manual, cause the auto tranny lags quite-a-bit. For a small car, It has decint room in the back seat, and plenty of trunk space in the 4dr. model.
But, like I said, lowering it was the best investment I made. I looks much nicer.

i've had mine for almost 3yrs. and nothing really bad has happened...
if there are other focus lovers out there though, if i could also recommend checking out teamfocus.us.. it's all about the focus.. also, it's branched into different sections for people to meet up easier.. hope it doesn't sound like i'm trying to sell something.. i personally am a member, so maybe it seems like i am.. oh well...

I've had my Focus for 2 years now and have loved every minute with it, good on gas small a quick for a 4 banger, and the mods that are out there for it are never ending. Another good site for the Focus lovers out there is clubfocus.net, just been on this site for a little bit seems good so far except for the flaming but that comes from al types of forums.

I'm 17 years old and I just bought my first car! It's the '03 fully loaded focus ZTS and I LOVE it!! It came in at a lil over 23 hundred. I especially love the gas mileage and trunk room! You can easily fit 12 inch subs in it and have a lil room to spare!! I love that! Its quick and although its an automatic its loud and sounds like a manual when you accelerate!

My question is.. how do I fix it up and add some moddifications for cheap!! If you have any ideas of great and local (if possible) companies I'd LOVE to know! Thanks so much!

Am 21, have been selling Fords for nearly 2 years, and i won't drive anything but a Ford truck or a Focus.

Had a Focus as a demo for a little while, it was great riding and fuel efficient for bombing around the city. Fast too, for what it was (SE Sport Sedan) and the biggest thing was that my friends and i actually fit in it! (I'm 6'4" and 175 lbs, and my friends are built the same way).

Long live the Focus, king of the compacts!!
