Headers for '01 Monty

Hello guys,
I'm new to this sight, and wanted to say hi. Obviously I got an "01 Monte Carlo ss. I did some monds to it including: thrasher cold air induction, bigger throttle body, 2 1/4 inch piping with sereis 40 Flowmasters. I'm thinking about putting in some new headers from SLP performance, what do ya think? Ya guys heard of SLP? Any other mods you guys recommend? I'm always open for new things?

Re: Headers for '01 Monty

The SLP headers are trash. I've heard them in person...and the complaints from owners, and the results just aren't good. However, I've heard the TOGs in person, and they sound great! They are much much easier to install too, and don't have the annoying "ticking" sound that the SLPs have.

www.3800performance.com carries TOG headers. Only downside is that they cost a bit more. You have to pay for performance though
