Can u help me

I just go a 1970 Miller Meteor(hearse) and the 472 it came with is really old and i would like to get a new engine for it, but i dont no what engines will fit in it. plz help

get the 472 rebuilt. your not going to get a better caddy motor for that car .

You might also want to dig around in a boneyard for the Caddy 500ci engine that was an outgrowth (stroked, I think) of the 472. Eldorados and such had those monstrosities.

I think you should get the motor rebuilt, if it is not in really bad shape. If you can't, try maybe a 427 or something that has always been rated as a good engine.

I would definitely stick with a Cadillac engine. A 500 would definitely be nice. Of course, rebuilding the current engine would be the best choice.

Chevy motors are boring, especially in non-chevies. If I rode in a Cadillac hearse with a chevy motor I would turn over in my coffin.
