I have one on my 89. you can get them from summit for about 150. Couple things though. One don't expect any help from the company if you have problems. I had to spend three hours to widen the hole for the O2 senor. Also make sure to line up the EGR piping or just remove it. Also the header is very loud so you might want to get some thermal exhast jackets to quiet them down. also check out downey headers they are more expensive but worth it.

I put a pace setter header on my '94 toy, removed the converter and put on a turbo muffler with dual exhaust. the difference in power and sound is much better. But, watch out... The EGR valve might get plugged by crap when you mess with this. I had to replace mine and it cost almost as much as the exhaust. Also, a cold air intake helps power.

Don't waste your money on an expensive cold air intake. Buy a high quality filter TRD(AFE) or Amsoil and do the deckplate mod. Search around the forum for the deckplate mod. It's easy and does the exact same thing as the cold air intake. Good luck.

I looked around online for the deckplate modification. I found some for newer model Toyotas but not really for later madel 4cylinders. I think I could have made this mod myself, before the cold air intake. Do you have a deckplate mod you'r like to share with the group? One that really works. And do you have horsepower and engine response stats too? Thanks for the input....

You can use your imagination on different variations, depending on which air box you have. I personally just cut the whole bottom of my air box out. I never go in the water or mud so for me it works. I like slickrock-Moab! For those who go in the water and/or mud, you would want to put the deckplate in. Just make sure that the hole you are cutting in - is before the air filter, not after. As for the horsepower and engine response stats...I don't have official stats. It feels a bit more responsive, but then again it is still a 4 Cyl - it will always be slow...good luck, I hope this helps.
