engine swap?

What front wheel drive engines can you swap into the 1994 Ford Escort GT?

Kl-ZE V6 , 1.8 V6, 1.8 GT-X and GT-R, With more work you could put in a 2.0 Zetec. But why? the 1.8 Gt motor you have now in a very good motor?

I know its a good motor a quick one at that with 127hp same as todays civics but i need something fast with more power atleast 180 or 200 hp now for those motors you listed could u use the stock gt 5spd trans or need to order one?

Both the GTX 180 hp and GTR ~210 hp use the regular 1.8 tranny.
You should look into just turboing the motor you have now, should have no problem with 180 hp. (with the correct managment)
