skylines in russia

just wanted to put out the word that there is a decent sized group of skyline fanatics in the russian federation. a lot in moscow, a lot in the east.

there have always been a lot of jap imports here, mainly in the east, and mainly 4wd minivans to get through the snow and to work as private taxis. very cool vehicles. but since laws have recently changed making european imports a little more expensive, locals have moved to rhd japs as a great alterative for audi/bmw/opel sedans and sports cars.

there are a number of gtr's around - a lefthd modded r34 recently won a big national drag event, and tons of various skylines. the really cool thing is that there is no legalization! you pay the shipping and a bit of customs and you are good to go.
