Very nice! I don't know how many times I've told "drift enthusiasts" that the 924/944/968 series are a natural choice for drifting, and better suited than most Japanese tuner cars.

I'm guessing your car is an '88, offhand.

Sure, i'd be glad to help out. Man this section is slow. I posted this up awhile ago.

My car is an 84.

Parts Heaven is in Hayward. You can find a lot of parts you need there. I've spent thousands there.

Also, EASY is in Emmeryville. A smaller version of Parts Heaven. Go check out parts heaven, I'm sure you'll like it.

Ah, so you have fitted the late suspension and brakes to it, very nice. What else have you done with it, aside from the obvious cosmetics?

Re: My 944

O and by the way thats not drifting. Thats just losing the rear end. Drifting is sliding the car around the corner in a controlled fashin retaining speed for corner exit.

You just lost the rear end in the corner and managed to recover it. Doing that you lost alot of speed and time on the track.

When I drift, I try to take the race lines and go as fast as possible. I'm not pro, but i'm practicing as much as possible.

Re: My 944

That looks liek a much better drift. In the first video the car just swung out. That would cost you a second or 2 on the track. gotta be smooth.

Im not pro eather but i am in an unofficial drift club. been doing it ever since i was 15years old. Its a blast man. Keep practicing and youl will find that you can shave 2-3 seconds off your track times with it. If done properly.

Nice videos by the way what mount are you using?

Tim

Re: My 944

I'm using an I/O Port Racing mount. I have http://www.driftermagazine.com site, which I haven't updated in a long time. I need some admins on it.

Re: My 944

I just fininshed watching the video, and its still quite jerky. What you are doing is more power oversteer. Try different lines through the corners it might make it smoother.

Also it looks like you are over rotating in the corners.

Keep on trukin.
